NOTICE - CHANGE OF POLICY
In September of 2010, Mississippi State Law changed the requirements to obtain a Residential Salesperson License.
Starting January 1, 2012 RETI Review/Retake Policy - Effective 1 Jan 2012:
- Those students who have completed either the Sales Pre-License class (group) or Broker Pre- license class (group) are afforded the opportunity, to retake either class or both for no charge under the following conditions:
- The student has paid the class tuition in full.
- The student starts the course no more than 90 days after the completion date indicated on the certificates issued to the student.
- The student is issued 2 copies of the completion certificate and should bring a copy for verification to the start of class.
- Those students who do not meet the criteria above must pay the charge of $595.00 prior to class for attendance of the full 9 day Pre-License Training course.
- Those students who desire to take just the 2 day Test Review will pay the charge of $200.00 for attendance of the Test Review.

NEW PRE-LICENSE/BROKER R.E.T.I.
MISSISSIPPI LAW CLASS FOR TESTING AND CE
Effective September 1, 2010 the MS Real Estate Commission contracted with "PSI" to administer the Sales Pre-Licensing exam and the Broker exam. It consists of 80 generic questions and 40 MS law questions.
We have found from recent test takers that the 40 question law exam is difficult. Most "Takers" have little problem with the 80 question generic portion but have had problems with the law portion.
To meet this need, the Real Estate Training Institute will conduct a class on the MS Real Estate Law at least once a month.
