The Appraisal Course - Intern (A1) (Trainee) course includes 75 hours of classroom instruction needed for trainees to finish the complete course and upgrade to Licensed Residential Real Property Appraiser status (150 hours total).
Note: all courses may also be taken separately, on an individual basis.
Classes are held over four weeks -- Fridays from 2:00pm to 10:00pm, Saturdays from 8:00am to 6:00 pm, with a break for lunch. One Thursday session is added in the final week, from 2:00pm to 10:00pm.
The 15 hour USPAP course is offered on the last Friday and Saturday of the Trainee course. All interns must complete the USPAP course prior to taking the state and national exams.

The 75 hour Appraisal Intern course, combined with the 75 hours from this course, total the 150 hours needed for Licensed Residential Real Property Appraiser status.
Note: The 15 hour USPAP course must have been completed no more than 12 months from the date that the application is submitted to the Mississippi Appraisal Board (MAB).
